It's time consuming but you keep full control over the process.ĭownload official Raspberry Pi OS with desktop image and flash your microSD card with it. It does not provide all Astroberry Server features available in precooked image and you have to configure your system on your own, which requires advanced understanding of linux system. This approach is not recommended for beginners.

You can install Astroberry Server packages on top of official Raspberry Pi OS with desktop system. Packages for the newest version will be available soon. It is designed for Raspberry Pi OS (Legacy) based on Debian Buster. The procedure described below does not apply to the latest Raspberry OS based on Debian Bullseye.
